Can parents bring their teenagers along to see a band?
The short answer is yes. Under-18's can attend if they are accompanied by one of their parents (or legal guardian), but it must be the person who is legally responsible for them. Not an uncle, older sibling, or a friend's parent. In most cases, the guardian will need to purchase a ticket as well, but some promoters do allow free entry for a guardian. If this is the case, it will be noted on the website you purchase the tickets from. If in doubt, give us a call.
Where do I get show tickets from?
It is rare for tickets to be on sale through The Kings Arms. Usually tickets will be available online through sites like Undertheradar, Eventfinder, NZTix, Ticketmaster, or from Real Groovy Records on Queen Street. If there is no listing on our gig guide for ticket sales, then that means the show is "door sales only" and you just need to rock up on the night and pay the entry fee.
Is the Kings Arms BYO?
The Kings Arms is not BYO. If you attempt to bring alcohol into the venue, you will be asked to either surrender it, or depart the premises.
