'The Kings Arms is one of the last great venues standing. It's seen more sh*t go down inside it's walls than you could ever wish to see happen in your life. For this month's sound select we will be re-opening it's doors featuring YGB patch members Team Dynamite, Third Eye, Raiza Biza and the young prospects Eno x Dirty.

Headlining the bill will be the O.Gs Opensouls. For those of you who were too young to get in the club when they were shutting it down, catch up on their debut album 'Kaleidoscope.' Open Souls were your favourite rapper's favourite band. Nearly every single one of the members of this collective has gone on to make something game changing. Whether it's Julien Dyne's December, Jeremy Toy's Leonard Charles, or Steph Brown's Lips. This is a seriously heavy line up of talent all in one band. The planets never quite aligned like this again.

The day will also feature some of Auckland's most gifted delinquents from the Arcade skate team going head to head in a game of s-k-a-t-e on the half pipe in the courtyard and a BBQ manned by YGB's finest chefs'. - Tom Scott
